Historical Fiction Night

Who doesn’t like their fictional tales with a hefty side of history?
We’re excited to host a compelling Historical Fiction Night at The Lit, a venue rooted in Grand Rapids’ rich literary and cultural heritage. Built in 1887 as a gathering place for a prominent women’s literary society, this historic landmark continues its legacy of fostering education, storytelling, and cultural connection.
Join us for an engaging discussion with talented authors as they bring history to life through vivid storytelling. From sweeping historical narratives to intimate, character-driven tales, our panelists will explore the real events, figures, and research that shape their work, as well as the delicate balance between fact and fiction.
Attending Authors
Authors will have their books available for sale and signing after the event.
